Color pictures and draw freely

A little beginning. So many possibilities.

Color an animal today. Draw something entirely your own tomorrow. You decide what your picture becomes.

Find a picture

Animals, plants, dinosaurs and fantasy: choose a picture from the themes in the coloring book.

Paint your way

Fill areas, draw with different tools, or start with a blank page.

Try something new

Switch colors, undo a stroke and save your own pictures. There is no single right way for your picture to look.

For children. With parents in mind.

Room to paint.A view for parents.

Choose a starting point together with your child. The parent options let you adjust practical settings for painting time.

Three painting levels: From large areas with few details to more detailed pictures. Different controls offer more ways to get started.
More than color: Optional picture symbols accompany the color swatches. Color vision profiles and Reduce Motion offer more display options.
Breaks at your pace: Parents can set break reminders and time limits in the parent area.
Stored on the device: Drawings and usage statistics are stored locally, separately for each profile. The parent overview does not assess pictures or abilities.

Ten app languages.

German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

This website is available in German and English.

Good to know

Before your first picture.

When is Lura Colors coming, and for which device?

The App Store launch for iPad is planned for November 1, 2026. Once the app is released, you will find the store link here and the exact device and system requirements on the App Store.

How much will the app cost?

Lura Colors is planned as a free app, with no ads or subscription.

Can my child draw freely?

Yes. Alongside coloring pictures, there is a blank page for your own drawings. Drawing tools, colors and undo give you room to experiment.

Do we need an account?

You do not need a Lura account for the coloring book. The app stores drawings, settings and usage statistics locally. It has no cloud sync of its own. Operating system backups depend on your device settings.

How Lura began

Started for my daughters.Created with families in mind.

Lura began with an idea for my daughters: a coloring app where they could try colors and create their own pictures. With no ads, no subscription and no cost.

Lura is a word I created from their two names. With Lura Colors, I want to share that joy with other families.

A family idea that keeps growing.

Lura Colors comes first

Soon there will be roomfor your colors.
